|Want to decrease your commute time? Why not live near the Vienna Metro Station? There are lots of opportunities depending on your particular needs. Not only are resale homes for sale, but there are new construction communities nearby that are not always listed in the multiple listing service. The Mosaic District has some new construction and there is a small community of large homes (4000+ square feet) near Mosby Woods Elementary School set to be built soon. Want to know where? Contact me! Remember, when you walk into a new community that is being built, the sales consultant represents the builder. You need your own representation (and it costs you nothing!). You can also search here for resale homes and live near the Vienna Metro Station. Happy house hunting!|

[UPDATE] Owners Changed Realtors and the Price Has Been Reduced to $1,795,000. It is BACK ON THE MARKET!
Well, apparently one investor thought that was the right number!! Yes, indeed. An existing 1960’s brick home was demolished at 2926 Sayre Drive last year in the Poplar Terrace Neighborhood. In its place, in the middle of other remaining 1960’s homes, is a 6,764 square foot “mini mansion” with 6 bedrooms, five full baths and 2 half baths. It has a lot of upgrades: marble floors, hardwood, crystal chandeliers at every turn, a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The property has a 2 car garage and is gated. And you can walk to the metro station! The property was originally listed at $1,980,000 in December. It was reduced to $1,800,000. It is now temporarily off the market as of March 28 . Now, I’m not saying it won’t sell, but its going to take a special type of person with a special need or vision for this one. If it does sell, think of what it would do for other properties in the area.
What do you think??? Please let me know!
